I have put it together. The weight of this box is considerable. I assumed it would be flimsier, However, I would not sit on this item so it is for storage only and as my footstool. I do not think these boxes are “ottomans” per se, so if anyone wants a bench thing, spring for a more robust item. It fits 3 blankets and 4 cushions in it easily
